As of January 2026 I going to be devoting 100% of my work to Help Your Kids Maths and a large proportion of this will be focused on offering affordable and effective online teaching for homeschoolers. This has been a passion of mine since I taught 1000's of children online for free during the Pandemic and I now putting together a selection of classes after speaking to parents across the country about their frustrations and needs when it comes to maths and unlocking the potential inside their children.
Everything I do is aimed at engaging students and allowing them to have fun, whilst growing in confidence in arguably one of the most important academic subjects in terms of solving problems and opening doors in the future. Lessons are delivered live in small groups with a video of me teaching the content with students then access custom-made online activities to explore and consolidate on key skills. The format allows me to monitor exactly what students are doing and offer real-time, personailsed feedback to individuals.
As well as students enjoying the lessons, they all make great progress with every single student of mine having passed their GCSE maths exams with a grade 4 or higher.
HYBRID LEARNING
I appreciate that Homeschooling can be really expensive and that lots of children enjoy the freedom of learning independently. After speaking to lots of parents and children I have developed my Hybrid Class. This involved just 1 lesson a week with 5 weeks in each half term. I also provide you with resources to use independently based on the topics covered that week. 100% of my previous students have passed their GCSE Maths with just one lesson a well, so I know the content of this course is high quality. I have just given up a Head of Maths position for this and I know that with my experience in teaching both in schools and online, that I can provide all the support to ensure my students grow in confidence and move towards achieving that all important GCSE grade 4+ in Maths.
